Caution! Bachelorette Party in Progress!

Kristen's big day is coming quickly so we had her bachelorette party last Saturday. She had no idea what we had planned for her. After we got her all dressed up and ready to go we left for Little Rock. The plan was to paint pottery, eat a nice dinner, then hang out back at the apartment.

STOP NUMBER 1: THE PAINTED PIG

We wanted to do something special that Kristen would really enjoy so we decided to paint pottery. The painted pig is a pottery place located in Little Rock.
Here is their web site you should check them out.

When we got there we all picked out our pieces and went to work. The outside of The Painted Pig

Kristin painting her pottery.
You can never go wrong with polka dots!!
It turned out so cute.
The best part is that it serves as both a chip and dip bowl and a cake stand.

I think when it comes to painting pottery Laura is a natural.
She walked in picked out her serving tray and went to work!

Life's to short to drink bad wine!
Kristen made herself a wine bottle chiller.

Here I am with my finished picture frame!

STOP NUMBER 2: BONEFISH GRILL

Dinner at Bonefish Grill was so deeeeeelish.
We ordered a variety of food and drinks.

Group photo number 2!

STOP NUMBER 3: KRISTEN AND LAURA'S APARTMENT

After dinner we went back to Kristen and Laura's apartment for more fun. At the end of the night we all ended up siting in the middle of the kitchen floor. We had candy and cake, and some much need girl talk. I couldn't think of a better way to end a perfect day.

Speaking of ending, it is my bed time. I love you all my darling bloggers.

Friend

Now's that you've been introduced to my family its time for you to meet my friends!

Kristen soon to be Mrs. Nichols!!! I meet Kristen when she moved to Mountain Home in the 9th grade. We were instant friend. Through high school we were close but our friendship grew so much when we decided to be roommates in college. Despite everyone's warnings about living with your best friend we over came the odds, and lived together for 4 wonderful years. Now, that i'm in Fayetteville and Kristen is still in Conway we still remain close. On August 7th I get to be the maid of honor in her wedding.

"Though we drifted apart in distance I still think of you as being right here. And although we have many new friends, it is our friendship that means the most to me." Anonymous

Laura is such a wonderful person and everyone a needs friend like her. She is a great listener and has the best taste in jewelry. I meet Laura my sophomore year in college and we lived together my junior and senior years. I miss her so much but when I go visit we always have a great time eating Mexican food and drinking margaritas.

Laura and Kristen are my two closest friends but I have so many other wonderful people in my life. I recently just moved into a new apartment with a new roommate. Her name is Michelle. We are still getting to know each other, but so far we've had a good time hanging out. During the school year I spend all of my time in the architecture studio with my classmates. They keep me entertained, encouraged and challenged. I have no doubt that I will keep in touch with some of my classmates for the rest of my life.

I think its time for me to call it a night.
I've enjoyed introducing you to the important people in my life.
To all my darling bloggers I love you and good night.

Introduction

I've given in and its time for me to see what all the hype is about blogging. Yes, I know i'm a little late jumping on this train but i'm here. Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Anisha and I'm a junior at the University of Arkansas. I'm majoring in architecture which keeps me very busy but I love it.

My family is very important to me and I am so blessed by them every day. Now, let me introduce you to my family.

My grandparents (mema and papa) just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They have 3 wonderful children, Rhonda, Leah Ann, and Roger.

Rhonda is my mom. At the age of 9months she adopted me from India. I've learned so much from my mom and i'm convinced she is one of a kind. Without her I wouldn't be the person I am today.

My aunt Leah Ann is one of the kindest people i've ever meet. She genuinely cares for people and their feelings. Leah Ann's husband is Tony and he is the comedian of the family. He always keeps us laughing and with him around there is never a quite moment. Joey is their son, he is 14 and about to start high school.

Roger is my uncle and he lives in Texas. I cherish the time I get to spend with him because we don't see him that often. Roger is a dog lover! He has a dog named Dawson who is wonderful.

I could stay up all night typing out all of the wonderful memories I have about my family. I am truly blessed to be a Martin.

Well bloggers I think i'm going to have to call it a night. I've enjoyed telling you all about my family and look forward to telling you about my friends.

Love you all my darling bloggers.
